The Elder Justice Center of Alabama has available an Adult Day Health Center called “The Best Days”. Best Days provides care and companionship for older adults who need social engagement and care during the day. Best Days is unique because it offers both social and clinical services so they can continue to thrive at home and in their community. Best Days has partnered with University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing who provides the clinical support at the center. Best Days specializes in serving adults with Alzheimer’s Disease or Related Dementias who need mild or moderate levels of care.
Best Days also offers much-needed relief to family caregivers, allowing them to stay employed, handle personal business, or just relax while knowing their loved one is in a safe and fun environment. Family caregivers can also participate in support groups, caregiver education and training, and other activities while their loved one is having fun at Best Days.
At the Elder Justice Center of Alabama, our goal is to provide the “BEST DAYS” for your loved one! Reach out to the Elder Justice Center today and enroll your loved one in our Adult Day Health Center! The cost per day is $20.00 which covers lunch, and snacks. Family stipends may be available for those who cannot afford to pay the daily cost for services.
